Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
Winter, some people hate it, and some people love it. When I say I love winters, people look at me like I am crazy. I am from Colombia, where we don’t have four seasons, let alone winters.
The first time I saw snow, I took care of two beautiful little girls as an Au Pair. Well, my first instinct was to build a snowman – It’s funny because it was less than an inch of snow – and we had so much fun!
Although playing with snow is so much fun, sometimes it can be freezing outside, and the little ones still need to have some fun! Am I right? No worries, I got you covered 🙂 Here is this Build The Snowman’s Family Free Printable.

Build The Snowman’s Family Free Printable
When I was creating this craft, I only thought about building the average Snowman; However, I wanted to bring you something more complete. When you make a real snowman, you do it with your family. Right? And not only that but, sometimes, you also make more than just one snowman! So… I decided to create a complete Snow Family for your little ones 🙂
Depending on their age, you can choose to do just mom and dad, or mom, dad and child(ren)! Whatever you decide to do. I want you to have FUN!!
Materials
Very simple, I am sure you have them on hand.
- Build The Snowman’s Family Free Printable (Download down below)
- Colors, crayons or markers if you print the black and white version
- Scissors
- Glue
- Blue Card Stock to glue the whole family together
- Washable white kids paint and paint brush to paint some snow (Optional)

This is fantastic stuff. You will have both options, color and black and white! Print whatever you and your child are in the mood for. I printed the color one (Download Below)
Instructions
First, get the Build The Snowman’s Family Free Printable, then color – if you printed the white and black file – and cut all the pieces. The mom and dad are big and easy to cut; However, the Snow Kids are more tricky. I encourage you to help your little ones to cut some of the pieces.
Once you are done, paint some snow with washable white kids paint on blue card stock paper – you can also use your child’s fingertips and then put together the whole Snow Family! Yayyy 🙂 This is my favorite part 🙂
To fit the whole family, Snow Dad and Snow Mom’s bodies need to be glued only halfway through, just like a show you down below.

Every project, craft, or activity you do with your child is an opportunity to get close to him/her. I encourage you to take time and teach him little stuff, and, or, also to see what is going through their little brains.
