First, download your Build a Salad Craft Free Printable and print it out. If you decide to print out the Black & White version, have your kids color it with crayons, markers or paint. Once your little one is done coloring, help him to cut!
These are all the veggies he can choose from: Mushrooms, Tomatoes, Broccoli, Cucumbers, Peppers, Onions, and even croutons! YUMMY! (I am getting hungry)
After cutting all the veggies your child wants on the salad, it’s time to build it. I decided to use green card stock paper to glue all the pieces together. This is optional, you can choose other color or totally skip this step.
Start by gluing the spinach to the salad bowl and then glue the bigger veggies like tomato, onions and broccoli. Once you have them all placed, glue the medium and finally, the little ones. (This will help you to utilize the space in a more efficient way)
Here’s a pic of how the final project should look like!
