Hello Daydreamers!
Want to teach your little student numbers 1 through 10?
If that’s the case, this post will contain pretty much everything you need to help your kids master numbers 1 to 10. I spent almost a month on my computer designing the following worksheets, and I plan to add more as time goes on.
There are over 100 pages full of tracing activities, mazes, coloring pages, games, and more! I am 100% convinced you’ll find resources for preschool, kindergarten, and even first grade.
All these pages are in PDF format and designed to be printed on letter-sized paper. I tried my best to utilize the space but also give you enough room to perforate them and use a binder.
Feel free to print as many copies of the worksheets as you need for teaching purposes. However, please note that selling or claiming them as your own is prohibited. If you know of any fellow moms or teachers who would like to use them, please share the link to this article with them.
There are three ways to download the worksheets:
- Click on the page you want to download to open a new window in PDF format. Then, proceed to print from that window.
- Trigger a download to your phone or computer by clicking the yellow “Download PDF” button under each page you want to print.
- The third option is a “set download” for worksheets 1 through 10. This option is only available when the activity makes sense.
Line Tracing for Numbers 1 – 10
Line tracing is one of my favorite ways to help children develop the fine motor skills they need to learn how to write. Plus, it’s so much fun!
Every single line in each worksheet is different. Each worksheet has three small components.
- The first one has the number in numeric value, a line, and the number in letters so they can see how it’s written and practice tracing it.
- The second activity is the opportunity to practice counting the number on the worksheet.
- The third is to trace a line that takes you to the following number.
For the entire line tracing set, click the yellow button below.
Number Tracing Worksheets
The following number tracing worksheets are great for kindergarten and first-grade students, as they can practice counting and writing in numeric and word numbers from 1 to 10.
Each page has pictures representing the number being studied. Encourage your little students to color and trace as many numbers as possible.
I’ve noticed that my kids sometimes want to trace a couple of letters or color everywheree. And that’s okay; exposure is essential at this stage.
Numbers 1 – 10 Coloring Pages
Coloring is one of the best ways to help your child learn something new.
The following coloring pages have three ways to expose your kids to the number they are trying to learn.
- Numeric and word values for the child to color
- Item to count and represent the number in the worksheet
- Practice area for them to trace the numeric value.
Mazes numbers 1 – 10
I love mazes!
They are an excellent way to improve children’s problem-solving and cognitive skills. They encourage creative thinking, improve memory, and teach patience and perseverance.
The following mazes are shaped like the numbers 1 to 10. Each maze is unique, and there are areas where the student can color and trace the number in words.
I also included some sort of rhyme with each page to make things extra fun.
Dot Markers worksheets
Have you ever heard about dot markers (affiliate link)?
Just as the name says, dot markers have a dot-shaped tip and come in all sorts of colors. They are thick and last for a long time (unless your toddler bites the tip off like mine did, lol).
Because they are thick, they are perfect for little hands to hold.
The following sheets are designed to be used with the dot markers. However, if you don’t have them, use whatever you have on hand.
Number Recognition Worksheets
Exposure, exposure, exposure! The more exposure your little student has to a subject, the more he will learn.
The sheets below are for the child to find the correct number. I purposely chose different fonts so the child could see different number variations.
Counting, Number and Color Recognition
The following worksheets tackle counting, number, and color recognition.
The first worksheet will have the child counting and coloring the number representing the amount of crayons.
For the second worksheet, the child counts the number of circles in different colors and writes the value in the respective box.
The following worksheets involve cutting and pasting!
Have your child (you can also help) cut the little blocks of color and numbers and glue them on the correct box.
Navigate Through Space Game
The following worksheet kept my kids entertained for a couple of days!
Once you print the page, have your child color it, trace the numbers, and cut the little figures.
Super Fantastic Tip: Make this activity extra fun by cutting a tiny piece of stainless steel Scotch Brite (affiliate link) and taping it to one of the little figures. Then, with a magnet on the other side of the paper, have the little figure glide as your child counts from 1 to 10.
Puzzle Numbers 1 – 10
Puzzles can enhance memory, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail, reducing stress levels. In this fast-paced world, we need more of these types of activities.
Print, laminate, cut, and have your child form the puzzle as often as possible.
Flashcards numbers 1 – 10
Flashcards are a timeless way to learn. So, of course, I had to include them! They are in black and white, so your little ones can interact with them by coloring them.
You can have them color and laminate them or laminate them and then have them use dry-erase markers.
Now you can teach numbers on the go, on the couch, at the table, etc.!
I Spy Numbers 1 – 10
“I Spy” games are a fantastic way for your little ones to master concepts while having fun!
They will be exposed to the numbers and need to count the number of numbers they see on each worksheet.
I also included an I Spy worksheet for the written form of the numbers, which is perfect for a first grader!
Match Numbers
For the following activities, have the student color or trace the numbers and match them with the right box or word.
Bingo Game
Of all the worksheets I worked on, my favorite is the BINGO game!
And it’s not just one BINGO game! You can choose to play with the family in four different options.
The first option is an “Easy Bingo.” It’s easy because the game goes by fast, and your kids will quickly learn the numbers.
There’s an option to download in color or black and white.
The “Hard Bingo” includes three ways of the numbers 1-10 (numeric, written, counting dots). My three-year-old is learning so much from playing this game.
It’s a game, but kids pay more attention than we think. And as you play with them, you’ll see how fast they learn.
Just as the “Easy Bingo,” the “Hard Bingo” comes in color and black and white.
That’s all I have for now!
So there you have it—a variety of fun and engaging “Numbers 1 to 10 worksheets” for your students or children. Remember to keep things interesting by mixing and matching different worksheets and illustrations.
Happy teaching!
