Hello Daydreamers.

Christmas is just around and the corner and to celebrate I spent the last couple of days designing over 50+ Free Printables Christmas Gift Tags!

I haven’t done a “Free Printables” post in a while, but get used to them because I am about to start making more of these types of articles.

I made a wide variety of Christmas gift tags because I wanted you to give multiple options to choose from.

In a nutshell, this is what you’ll find in this post:

  • Farmhouse Style Christmas Gift Tags
  • Retro Style Christmas Gift Tags
  • Funny Christmas Gift Tags
  • Bright Red Tags
  • Christ-Centered Christmas Gift Tags

Gift Tags you’ll find in this post

Here are some screenshots of al the gift tags you’ll find in this article.

There’s a section for each set of the tags were I’ll tell you what each tag says and also some photos in action.

At the end of each section, there are some buttons where you can download the PDF set and save it on your computer. (No subscription needed)

If you have a Cricut machine don’t download the PDF. I’ve included a PNG file for each Christmas set for you to upload as a Print then Cut image.

Warning: If you are cutting with your Cricut the Gift tags will be a little bit smaller. Also, when uploading the PNG image to Design Space you need to erase the little tag hole inside each tag and the watermark.

Here’s a handy tutorial if you don’t know how to Print then Cut.

Don’t know what a Cricut is? Learn more about it in this guide I put together.

Now let’s see all the Christmas gift tags in actions.

Materials

The materials you need for these gift tags are super simple.

  • Home Printer
  • White Cardstock, although I am a huge fan of trying different colors as well like kraft (brown) cardstock.
  • Scissors
  • Hole Punch
  • Twine or hemp cord
  • Wrapped Present (my favorite lol)
  • Optional: Cutting machine if using the PNG files
Materials Needed for the Christmas Gift Tags.

Quick How-To use these Christmas Tags

Step 1: Print your favorite gift tag set (or all of them).

If you decide to print some of the color gift tags I recommend you set your printer to the best quality possible if you don’t have a high-end printer.

It really makes a difference.

Step 2: Use a hole punch to cut out the middle hole of the gift tag.

Step 3: Use twine or hemp cord to attach it to your present.

Farmhouse Style Christmas Gift Tags

Can we agree that everything Farmhouse Style is just mesmerizing?

These funny gift tags take a totally different approach.

I love how carefree they are and I am sure whoever gets them is going to laugh a lot.

Don’t you think?

To add extra goodness I made these gift tags in four different styles. Black and White, bright red, dark teal, and a combination of red and green text.

I am sure one of those styles will fit your needs.

These funny phrases used for these gift tags:

  • It’s the thought that counts
  • If you shake it, I’ll keep it.
  • This is just what you didn’t ask for.

Bright Red Christmas Gift Tags

Be prepared!

The following gift tags are adorable. These were the ones that took me the most to put together, but I love the final design.

Don’t you think they look lovely?

I have included two colors. One set is bright red, and the other one is black and white.

These are the phrases you’ll find in this set:

Christ-centered Christmas Gift Tags

Now we are talking about Christmas.

It’s so easy to get caught up with shopping, eating, and spending time with family, that, sometimes we forget about the reason Christmas is all about.

I love having a day where we remember and celebrate the birth of Jesus, our savior.

This set is in black and white, bright red, and navy blue.

These are the phrase/verses you’ll find in these christ-centered gift tags.

  • Joy to the world
  • For to us, a child is born – Isaiah 9:6
  • Jesus is the reason for the season
  • God with us – Matthew 1:23
  • Rejoice
  • Prince of Peace
  • A savior has been born to you – Luke 2:11
  • Thanks be to God for this indescribable gift – 2 Cor 9:15
  • We love him because he first loved us 1 John 4:19

Blank Gift Tags (Templates)

What about simplicity?

Not everyone is about printing fancy gift tags. After all, most of them, end up in the trash.

Sadly, but yes.

If that’s you I also have these cute designs where you can just print the template, cut around and write your message with a marker.

I have terrible lettering (I hope to get better one day), but I am sure you get the point.

The good think about these templates is that you can use them for any special occasion, not only Christmas. A birthday, baby shower, etc.

There are five templates I’ve included in this article.

  • Circle Shape
  • Rounded at the bottom shape
  • Square Shaped
  • Rounded Square shape
  • Rounded Square with “floral” at the top.

I think they’ll make more sense when you see them.

Note: If you have a Cricut, you can download the PNG files, however, I recommend you check out my how to make gift tags with your Cricut tutorial. In that article, I have the cut files and cool tips and tricks to make out of the world gift tags.
